What is your definition of self-care and what's your ultimate self-care ritual?
My definition of self care, is being gentle on myself and asking myself every day how can I be gentle on myself today? How can I take time for myself today? I feel that when we intuitively tap in and listen to what our body is asking and telling us, this is when we are able to cultivate a loving relationship with ourself. My ultimate self care routine includes some form of mindfulness every single morning to get my mind and body ready for the day ahead. Which can include anything from; yoga, meditation, walking out in nature, enjoying a nourishing breakfast or sitting outside.
Why natural / non-toxic products?
Because our skin is our largest organ, it’s imperative to me that I am nourishing it with products that are not only non-toxic to my temple, but also to our planet. What we apply topically to our skin is just as important to what we put into our body. Therefore I make it my responsibility to ensure all the products I use are natural, organic, and cruelty free. Working with Natalie to educate myself has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself.
Three favourite foods?
My three favourite foods are: homemade vegan & asian medicinal mushroom miso ramen soup, homemade vegan cheese and vegemite scrolls, & of course turmeric for days.
What is your ultimate holiday destination and why? Anywhere where I can experience and further my knowledge of the middle ages.
Favourite beauty / skincare product? My current favourite beauty / skincare product would have to be my turmeric beauty oil from RMS, I just have to add this because I couldn’t resist, my Shemana dream mist is life.
